iPhone 14 Leak Alleges Camera Lens Quality Issues, But Impact May Be Minimal

While Android fans might count days to the next Samsung mobile phone, which from the Apple camp is still waiting for their time for a big September event. The iPhone 14 series will be an attractive batch given the small but important changes that Apple hopes to provide lineup. But while we are still for months from cellphones that are actually sent to the initial buyers, it seems that production has reached several obstacles. This is not new in Apple, which must postpone the launch of the iPhone X and push the iPhone in a limited amount due to the same problem. Fortunately, regardless of a rather gloomy atmosphere that the alleged problems are said to produce, they may have a very limited impact on how many Apple iPhone will be sent this fall.

Regular supply problems occur with any smartphone, which is why producers always have a backup plan and, sometimes, alternative suppliers. However, this last year has tried specifically for those in the industry that relies on all types of silicone due to lack of global semiconductors. The worst seems to have ended, but the effect can still send ripples through the industry.

Ming-Chi Kuo previously reported that Apple faced some supply problems for RAM and Display panels intended for iPhone 14. The analyst did not seem to worry because Apple had an option to fill what was lacking. Micron and SK Hynix, for example, can complement Samsung LPDRR5 supply, while Samsung and Boe can fill the gap for LG display. However, now, it seems that Apple has reached other lumps on the road for other important hardware components.

The new Kuo -new claims that the rear camera lens supplied by Genius suffers from layers cracks. Considering how critical the camera is in a smartphone experience, Apple reportedly forced to spin quickly and switched to different suppliers while Genius tried to repair the pipe. Fortunately, Taiwan Largan suppliers are believed to be more than being able to handle Apple’s commands, even if Genius fails to overcome the alleged problem in one to two months.

Better news is that Kuo is optimistic that this supplier change will not drastically affect Apple’s schedule or shipping number. As mentioned earlier, Apple should have been used for this kind of problem and has even expanded its list of suppliers for this year’s iPhone. Which said, it could still be a very optimistic view and Apple might be forced to limit the number of iPhone 14 units that will be sent at first.

The iPhone 14 series will have a number of interesting changes, both in terms of hardware and marketing strategies – at least based on rumors and leaks. It is hoped that the pill -shaped chalk is expected to finally replace this year’s tachos, and the iPhone 14 Pro will eventually also have an upgraded camera. Which said, Apple was also reportedly expanding the gap between the base and Pro models, making the iPhone 14 more like the iPhone 13 which was slightly increased. The company also reportedly eliminated the 5.4 -inch mini model option and replaced it with 6.7 -along the iPhone 14 Max instead.
